“She’s silvery grey, with a bold, beautiful eye and a body that would put her on the cover of Sports Illustrated if she were a model.”
Breednet’s Tara Madgwick describing Greysful Glamour
“She’s pretty laid back and casual and probably hasn’t got a brilliant turn of foot or anything but she’s very tough and she gives her all and it will take her a long way.
“She rests in a race, which is really important for stayers when they are getting over a trip. She rests and got good tactical speed and can take up a position.”
Jockey Tim Clark after Greysful Glamour powered clear to win by a commanding three and a half lengths in the $60,000 VRC Oaks Trial over 1800 metres
Six weeks later Greysful Glamour runs a gallant second in the Group One VRC Oaks (2500m) a length behind winner Aristia, with Paddy Payne’s Miner’s Miss, another three-quarters of a length away in third.
Fingers crossed we see her in the autumn thundering down the Randwick straight!
Greysful Glamour was smartly away, Tim Clark then steadied the mid race pace before lifting the tempo coming to the home turn. She got a break on straightening and fought back well for a good second.
